3 Women

3 Women (1977) Directed by Robert Altman. 2hr 4min. Rated PG. Catch Robert Altman’s dreamy 3 Women (1977) as part of our film series Pretty, Witty and Gay‚—in conversation with the David Hockney exhibition. This visually rich, impressionistic film is set against the backdrop of the dusty California desert and depicts an eerie portrait of womanhood. We do not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films, and films exhibited don’t necessarily reflect the views of PAM CUT or the Portland Art Museum. In addition to the synopses, trailers, and other links on our website, further information about content and age-appropriateness for specific films can be found on sites like Common Sense Media, IMDb, and DoesTheDogDie.com.
