A Holy Place (1990) (Church of Film)
This event has already happened.
Nobody marked themselves down for this one.
A Serbian monk, Toma, meets a witch on a dark and stormy night—and kills her. Her father summons Toma to fulfill his daughter’s last wish: that Toma pray over her body for three nights. A HOLY PLACE is a devilish retelling of Gogol’s Viy tale, dripping with Gothic eroticism and scandalous hedonism, directed by the master of Serbian horror, Djordje Kadijevic.
