A Wonderful Pile of Possible Images: Art Activity with Teresa Getty

Join artist Teresa Getty for a hands-on art activity inspired by techniques used in her studio practice. Participants will choose from a collection of printed images—including flowers, architecture, natural forms, and everyday objects—and use a simple transfer process to create the starting point for a drawing. Using oil pastels, participants will respond to and transform their transferred image through color, line, and texture, creating a small artwork to take home. No drawing experience is necessary.
