It's a full moon! Let's ride naked. Except, let's do it in daylight! September is still nice weather, but it can be cold at night! So we'll enjoy the warm orb of the sun, and provide our own moons to dress up Portland' streets. This is a "bare as you dare" ride. Clothing welcome, nudity welcome. A quiet protest against oil wars, fossil fuel dependence, and car dominance. We'll roll from Coe Circle, and loop back about 2 hours later. We'll visit all five quadrants of the city, shout pro-bicycle slogans, and possibly visit ODOT's Portland Headquarters for a short, symbolic protest against freeway widening. Let's enjoy and make use of the civil liberties we have had to peaceably assemble to seek redress of grievances. Enshrined in the 1793 US Bill of Rights, and many place before and since. (Past Tire and crew have been leading small naked rides for 17 years. We periodically vary the date and theme -- this is our first "full moon daytime ride!")
