What do the ways we fast, feast, and gather reveal about what, and whom, we value? Join us for a shared meal and guided conversation about food, memory, discipline, celebration, hospitality, justice, identity, and belonging. Together, we will explore how practices of fasting, feasting, and gathering express what matters to us and shape our relationships with one another. Religious, spiritual, secular, cultural, questioning, and no-faith perspectives are welcome. No particular background or knowledge is expected, and no one will be asked to represent an entire tradition or worldview. Students are the primary audience. Faculty and staff are also welcome. Dinner is provided. Advance registration is required, and space may be limited. RSVP by Monday, November 9 through Engage. --- Sponsored by Constructive Dialogues, Campus Ministry, and Diversity & Inclusion Programs.
