Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter with Rue Morgue Magazine

After being announced dead and taken to a morgue, Jason Voorhees spontaneously revives, escapes from the hospital, and stalks a group of friends renting a house in the countryside near Crystal Lake. Presented by Portland Retro Gaming Expo (PRGE) and hosted by Rue Morgue Magazine Executive Editor Andrea Subissati along with Yasmina Ketita, producer of The Rewind Zone on Rue Morgue TV. Arrive early for an important lesson: How to play the Friday the 13th NES game… and enjoy it! Is it among the most punishing horror games the NES system has ever seen? Possibly! But there’s fun to be dredged from the depths of Crystal Lake’s pixels, if you know how. Let Rue Morgue’s Andrea Subissati be your guide to this challenging (but not insurmountable!) 8-bit ordeal. Followed by Friday the 13th Trivia hosted by Yasmina Ketita! Yasmina Ketita is a columnist and series host of The Rewind Zone for Rue Morgue Magazine, a contributor for Terror Vision, Canadian International Pictures, Arrow and Synapse Films, a film programmer at Toronto’s Paradise Theatre and Chicago’s Music Box Theatre, and an avid VHS collector.
