Live Music with Bees in a Bottle

Bees in a Bottle is the Portland indie duo of Christine and Chad McAllister, crafting intimate, emotionally electric songs that blur the lines between indie rock, folk noir, and slow-burning cinematic pop. Known for their moody guitar textures, haunting melodies, and Christine’s evocative vocals, the band has carved out a distinct niche blending raw storytelling with ethereal atmosphere to explore forgotten corners of the heart. These are the sounds of ghosts, memories and light.  Their music has been featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered, NPR’s Music playlist, Premiered in Under The Radar Magazine and NPR’s Bob Boilen listed their song ‘Wet Widow’ in his Top 25 Songs of 2023. Christine’s voice—equal parts fragile and fierce—anchors the band’s sound, while Chad’s multi-instrumental work builds immersive, ever-evolving landscapes. Together, they create music that is deeply human: sometimes sorrowful, sometimes beautiful, always honest. Event link: https://doublemountainbrewery.com/event/live-music-with-bees-in-a-bottle/
