Post-Election Community Celebration

About the Event Whatever the results, the election will be behind us, and we’d like to invite you to join us as we come together as constituents, colleagues, and neighbors to celebrate the conclusion of this year’s election season. This City Club-sponsored community event is an informal, open mic gathering for candidates, campaign workers, candidate supporters, and anyone interested in coming to a relaxed evening of conversation, connection, and appreciation for everyone who stepped up to participate in our democratic process this past year. Whether you were on the ballot, knocking on doors, or simply following along, we hope you join us! We’ll kick things off with a casual open mic for the first hour, where candidates are invited to share a few thoughts, reflections, or “thank-yous.” After that, the rest of the evening is open for you to mingle, continue the conversation, meet new faces, and catch up with familiar ones. [REGISTER NOW!] All are welcome. As a nonpartisan organization, City Club is proud to host a space where people of every perspective can gather, listen, and celebrate civic engagement together. Good to know: As a member-led club, we keep our member event budget lean so more of it goes toward programming and research. Food and drinks at Kells Irish Restaurant & Pub are available for purchase on your own — we encourage you to treat yourself and support a local business we love, but you’re welcome either way. Come for the company; stay for the conversation. Event link: https://pdxcityclub.org/event/post-election-community-celebration/
