Skip the Small Talk Night at Powell's City of Books

Come meet some new people over conversations that go deeper than the usual small talk. A host guides the evening with thoughtful conversation prompts and a structured format, so you can come on your own or bring a friend. This is a friendship event, and all ages are welcome. Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 6:30–8:30 pm Pacific. Check-in begins at 6:15 pm. Meet in the Pearl Room on the third floor of Powell's City of Books. Tickets are $19. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Drinks and light meals are available for purchase at the first-floor Guilder Cafe, which closes at 8 pm.
