Sunset Boulevard

Sunset Boulevard (1950) Directed by Billy Wilder. 1hr 50min. Not Rated. Catch the Billy Wilder comedy noir classic Sunset Boulevard (1950) as part of our film series Pretty, Witty and Gay— in conversation with the David Hockney exhibition. This film is a masterclass in high contrast, deep shadows, adding stardom and the brutal exploitative Hollywood film industry. We do not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films, and films exhibited don’t necessarily reflect the views of PAM CUT or the Portland Art Museum. In addition to the synopses, trailers, and other links on our website, further information about content and age-appropriateness for specific films can be found on sites like Common Sense Media, IMDb, and DoesTheDogDie.com.
